Anonymous: question: why do i feel like absolute crap during my run? i drink water all day prior to running, dont eat atleast an hour and a half before my run, stretch, warm up, all of the above. yet everytime i run i just feel gross and weak and get the worst shin splits. i actually somewhat like running, i just hate feeling like this and not knowing the cause :( 


I’m gonna give you a little tip that has helped me before- once you get past the first thirty minutes, it’s a breeze. That first thirty is DEATH, but after that it’s suddenly you have so much more energy! Another running tip, keep your mind distracted. I know everyone says, “Focus on the run. Think about your foot placement.” But no, running is actually my time of the day that I think. I think about everything while I’m running. Like I pretty much daydream. And then suddenly I’ll look and I’ll have ran two miles without even noticing! xoxo much love

Your body is not a house that you have to clean up before guests come. Your body is yours and yours alone. If he doesn’t love you, then he doesn’t love you.
